Focus timer
Livedeepstint
A timer for people who find starting the hard part, and who invoice the hours they actually worked.
Why we built it
Starting is the hard moment, and most timers punish you for missing it. Streaks, badges, and nudges turn a billing day into a game you lost. deepstint was built around task initiation, time blindness, and tracking without guilt.
Who it’s for
Freelancers and consultants, including people with ADHD. Anyone who invoices by the hour.
What it does
Type a task and hit Enter. Focus mode is visually quiet: no notifications, no badges. Tag by client and project as you go, including mid-session. Abandoned sessions are saved, never scolded. The day closes as a timesheet you can export. Free during beta. No account required.
Where AI shows up
None, on purpose. Getting started is a design problem, and the fix is fewer decisions. A prompt would sit in the way of the keypress the product exists to make easy.
Use cases
- Start a client block without a setup ritual
- Keep hours tagged by client and project while you work
- Export a timesheet that matches the day you had
- Close the day with an honest record, including the sessions you left
Lab note
Starting is the hard part
Most productivity tools are built for people who have already started. deepstint is built for the moment before.
